Why I loved Practicum {And you will too}

  Ok, ok, so I signed up for practicum mostly because I knew they were going to talk about Latin, and let’s face it – I needed a new vision for Latin.  We stuck with memorizing it last year because I vaguely remembered that at one point in all of my homeschool research I had […]

Here Come the “Go Fish” Guys!!!

What a blessing it was to be able to be a part of a community-wide, multi-church effort in a tiny rural community who thought big, and trusted large.  When planners set out with the idea of having a “Go Fish” Vacation Bible School (VBS) curriculum followed by a REAL LIVE CONCERT from GO FISH, I […]

When Light Beckons…

. We say it every year.   “This summer we will spend more time at the lake.” But we don’t.   Time passes and pretty soon snow falls, and we yearn for a sunny day by the lake.  So we say it again.   Sometimes we do this with the true Light. “This year we […]

Wisdom and Righteousness

Psalm 37:30-31 and 39-40:

"The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks what is just.
The law of his God is in his heart;
his feet do not slip.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The LORD helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him."
