When You’re Wondering Who Sustains You….

After hearing from so many of you how much you loved hearing about the Mama Robin outside our front window, I just knew I had to find a way to let you all see this beautiful miracle that has captivated my heart.  The video below of the Mama Robin tending to her flock was recorded in about 5 minutes.  She worked busily all day to feed her young – they are hungry little buggers!  (I can relate!)  Did you know that one Robin can eat as much as 14 FEET of earthworms a day???

(Consider pausing the music player on the lower-right hand side of the page???)

What a gift it is to get a glimpse into this creature’s world,  and I can’t help but remember that He who has His eye on the sparrow, watches over me…..

At the foot of the Cross,

~Karen

    That’s really cool. Thanks for sharing!

  2. This is so neat, Karen! Thanks for sharing!

    And, I love your insight – so true- about how God watches over us, just as we sit and watch this bird!

    I will have to share this with the girls tomorrow. They will enjoy the video!

  3. Met tonight with some CC Moms and one of them shared your site. I’m not typically a lap-booker…but I think having them correlate will really make it worth it and I know my children will really enjoy it. I look forward to trying some out! Thank you!

  4. Amazing!

Wisdom and Righteousness

Psalm 37:30-31 and 39-40:

"The mouth of the righteous man utters wisdom,
and his tongue speaks what is just.
The law of his God is in his heart;
his feet do not slip.

The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD;
he is their stronghold in time of trouble.
The LORD helps them and delivers them;
he delivers them from the wicked and saves them,
because they take refuge in him."
